About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“For Sale 1946 CJ2A Willys Jeep for parts or restoration. This jeep is reasonably whole but was modified with a 6 cylinder engine that is shot. axels, transmission and transfer case all operate and body is fairly solid. It has been parked for over 10 years. Vehicle is sold as is where it is, no refunds or returns. If interested I will gladly supply more photos.”
The tub appears straight. There’s some diamond plating lurking inside.
“1947 Willys Jeep- frame off restoration completed in 2001. Electrical converted to 12 volt, new seat, stereo American racing rims. Color is midnight blue. Crate motor (same as original), good tranny. Been in storage last 2 years! Great condition! Moving must sell!”
“1946 Willys CJ-2A Jeep /Hurricane 134 engine vehicle starts and runs well. The frame and drive train are actually from a CJ3-B a new floor has been installed and the original hat channel supports have been replaced with rectangle steel tubing. The electrical system has been converted to 12 volt. both high and low range 4-wheel drive work smoothly. It has a custom canvas top and a new heavy equipment heater for those cold mornings. A flat tow bar not shown here also is included. The alternator, fuel tank and pump have been recently replaced as well as the front tie rods. Radiator is laying in the jeep. frame is good, is 98% complete. will sell for $500 without the top or $550 with the top. price is firm. bill of sale only.
Would also consider trade for a beater car or maybe one that needs a little work.

(04/13/2013) This jeep has some unusual changes. Put “GREEN” in the subject if you email the seller.
“46 Willy’s Jeep great run around the farm or road. Had antique tags on her but now just use on grass. 4WD HIGH AND LOW PTO/WINCH in rear works flat 4 cyl.
Hate to get her up but just don’t use much and don’t want it to sit.
PUT “GREEN” IN SUBJECT SO I KNOW YOU ARE REAL”
“1947 willys jeep $3800obo
The jeep is pretty much rust free it needs a couple spots and fixed but minor. The jeep has power steering and a GM tilt steering column. The motor has been replaced with a 225 ci v6 really small engine good on fuel. Upgraded to 12volt. The motor is from a 60’s jeep. With a brand new fuel pump. Stock 3 speed tranny and stock transfer case. It has a new fuel tank. Newer military tires. All lights work. Also 2 new windshield motors and a brand new tow bar in front. The jeep also has a heater that works really well. And I also have two spare axles from a 1994 jeep wrangler that has upgraded 4:11 gears and a lock rite locker in the rear. I also have a box of receipts from the past owner. Also have title in hand and is currently registered. Please only serious buyers.”
“It spent the first 50 or so years as an Eastern Oregon farm truck. I bought it in Milwaukie OR when I lived there, and brought it to WA when we moved. It has passed it’s WSP VIN inspection and is currently licensed and insured. It registered with a year of manufacture 1947 license plate which makes it a collector car with no annual fee to operate it on the roadway.
Yearly insurance at it’s current value is less than $150 a year if you keep it inside a garage.
You’ve always wanted a fun car, a hobby car, something to play with on the weekend, and this little guy can fit that bill perfectly.
I have removed the tow bar from the front bumper, but it will go with the jeep when sold.
Send me an email if you’d like to come take a look, or go for a ride.”
