Runs and drives. Interesting stripe scheme.
“This is a 1947 Willys in running and driving condition. She isn’t pretty, however, she starts every time! Plow is in good working order. 1750 OBO”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5000
(06/07/2014) Looks nice.
“48 Willys CJ 2A. Runs good. Just went through the complete braking system. Oil just changed and new seat belts added. Tires are in good shape 32 x 11.50 x 15 BFG’s. Body and frame show great for this old of a jeep. It has a 4 cylinder Iron Duke motor. Cranks every time the first time. 3 speed manual transmission.
Comes with soft top shown in pictures. Currently has the summer bikini top on it.
This was kept in a garage for many years. I bought it as a new fun project and have made it road worthy but don’t have the time to follow through with restoration. This is a fun jeep to drive around town.”
Lots of work done, but still needs a body at the very least.
“This is a 47 Willys Jeep CJ2A that is about 90% restored. The original Flat 4 has been rebuilt. The original Trany and transfer case are rebuilt with all new gears. The front and rear differentials have not, but been checked and are in great shape. The frame has been professionally straightened and powder coated. New shocks, new leaf spring shackles, new steering hardware and linkages, so many new items to list that have been installed or they are seating on the shelf (have receipts). I have the body for the frame that is in the picture but it has seen better days. I have the fenders, tailgate, split windshield (glass needs to replaced), both front seats (need a backseat), hood, front grill. All this jeep needs are just a couple of things to put it back together. The hard part is done!!! The reason I am selling this jeep is because I bought my dream car and going to restore it instead. For those who know about this old classic flat fender jeep buying it for 5000 is a great deal.”
No pics provided.
“This is 1947 jeep willy or willies. 4×4 it runs and works..at this moment it would be perfect for a project. Title is available feel free to call for pics or more info thank you for your time”
UPDATE: UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1050
(06/14/2014) It’s got a column shift.
“I have for sale an early 1946 CJ2A Willys Jeep rolling chassis. The tub has some rust through but is very restorable. I believe it has the original paint and is not all dented and banged up. It comes with the frame, front axle, rear axle, springs, rims, front bumper, rear hitch, windshield frame, front fenders, grill, steering sector, all three matching data plates, engine that is stuck, and several small hard to find parts. This is a column shift jeep.”
UPDATE: Was $10,000. **SOLD**
Another 1948 Package Delivery Van, except this is the California Body version. Compare it to Jesse’s version.
“Will sell all of my Jeeps for the low price of $10,000 (Firm) which takes into consideration that there are issues, minor to major with all 3. Do Not let this scare you off. This is a screaming Deal for what I have and definitely warrants the expenditure of some time to come and look if you are a serious Jeep buyer! 1. 1947 CJ2 2. 1951 Jeep pickup 3. 1948 Willys Overland Parcel Delivery (PD) Quite Rare! First two run and the PD was driven from San Francisco to Paynes Creek 18 years ago and has not been started since. It has the 4 cylinder flathead engine and the other two are F Heads. The 1947 has an F head that is a transplant out of a 1953 jeep station wagon. I will entertain the idea of parceling them out. I do not answer TEXT messages, If you wish to communicate with me you must respond to the Craig’s List email platform with your phone number and your first name and I will get back to you shortly. I can provide more pictures by request.”
Looks solid and stock. Has small amount of hat channel rust.
“For sale is by far the nicest most solid original Willys I’ve ever owned. This would be an excellent candidate for a restoration project because sheet metal work would be minimal. I included a pic of the worst rust in the Jeep in the hat channel under the fuel tank. It starts, runs, drives and stops great. It still has the original 6 volt charging system. The steering is still tight. The brakes work great and the fuel tank is brand new. I would call it 95% original and had to be stored inside most of its life. I tried to leave the body alone so you can see what you are getting. Clean TN title in my name. $4700 Serious calls only please no texts.”
UPDATE: Still Available
(01/14/2013) This might be worth a look, since I don’t see too much rust. I like the upgraded data plates: duct tape with black ink.
“This is a old 46 CJ2A motor ran when parked in shed over 8 years ago. It is not seized. Tires are junk but are there to roll the jeep onto a trailer. Comes with an extra set of gears body needs work.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9500.
Looks solid.
“I have a 1948 willys army jeep. Everything in it is brand new or rebuilt. Call no text.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7000
Runs, but replacing fuel lines at the moment.
“I have a 1946 cj2a in really nice shape, it doesn’t run at the moment because I was in the process of replacing the fuel lines and fuel pump, other then that it runs great. willing to sell or trade for a car that gets good mpg.”
