Curiously, this has a wire gauze air filter normally seen on DJ-3A convertibles and surreys.

“I have here an old school Willie’s Jeep. This is a project jeep. I am sure this would be a great jeep if someone put the money and time. It is rough but has great potential. It has a snow plow manuel swing. It was updated to a 4 cylinder overhead vale motor. It doesn’t run at this time.Pick up is in rockford.”
The body has a number of repairs. This may have an f-head.

“1947 Willys Jeep with no motor and the trans is bad. I have a tailgate, fenders, and front, but they are rusted in some places. Needs to be rebuilt of course but has a good VIN and would make a great truck to cut up and not care if you wanted to make a rock crawler or something out of. Open to trades, perhaps anything GM truck related. Or shoot me something that you have that you want to trade. Currently it is sitting in my 6,600 sq ft building, so I don’t have to get rid of it anytime soon.”

“Early 1947 CJ2A for sale. Will need trailer to pickup or we can deliver for a fee within 1 hr. Mostly complete, needs carb. Transmission is not locked up like most Jeep’s you find from this era. Motor will most likely need a rebuild. Converted to 12 volt. Great candidate for restoration or pull the flathead four cylinder motor and replace with a small block. Overall solid project jeep. Will be sold with bill of sale. Jeep could be bought without the motor if you are planning to use a different motor for your trail rig”
