About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“This Willys was owned by same family for most of its life. I am first owner that is a non-family member.
The jeep starts, runs, drives and stops.
It has the following features –
Ford small block V8 – 221 bored to 233 cu.in.
Original transmission and transfer case with PTO
Ramsey winch with PTO drive – Works!
Meyer metal half cab
Lock out hubs
New fuel tank
New speedometer
Includes extra set of 14″ Jeep wheels from DJ3A postal jeep.
I have a clear title in hand.
It would need tail light and wiper work to be street legal.”
Seller is overseas and the title is in SC, while jeep is in VA.
“I bought this old jeep around a year ago to restore it but don’t have the time or money so it’s for sale.
It is a 1948 Willys CJ2A. This jeep is solid to be as old as it is. It is all original and needs to be brought back to life. I believe the engine can be rebuilt because it is not seized.
This jeep is defiantly a project vehicle and requires a lot of work, but it’s solid enough to be brought back to life, and again I don’t have the time but I am not giving it away so please make a reasonable offer. your starting point is $3000, but I will work with someone if you are interested.
I have the title but am currently over seas and will be returning in a couple of months. If you are interested in the jeep and would like to see it, It is located at my father’s house and he would be more than glad to get it out of his drive way so stopping by to see it won’t be an issue. Please email any questions.
Also please note what I mentioned above, that I am over seas. The title is in Myrtle beach, I am over seas, and the jeep is in VA, so I will address any inquires or questions through email and respond as soon as possible.”
“You’re looking at a ground-up restoration of a classic Jeep Willys CJ-2 “Alpha”. Restoration was finished in mid-2013.
I spared nothing in this rebuild. I have been a Willys fan all my life, and I wanted this to be right down to every last detail. This project took months and became quite involved.
The rebuild includes:
* Fully rebuilt engine and transmission
* Completely new clutch assembly
* New brakes, drums and brake lines
* New springs (front and rear)
* New gas tank
* New gauges and wiring
* New front seats and steering wheel
* New rims and tires
* New paint
Mechanically, it’s flawless. Drives perfectly and true to its heritage. Power plant is the stock Willys 2.2L “134” 4-cylinder, and transmission is the famous Willys 3-speed, which is reliable and bulletproof in its simplicity. Only ~200 miles on rebuild.”
“I have 2 willies jeeps ,no motor in ether one . all running gear is there. will make great mudder. also have a ford 2300 to go back in ,and original mtr is torn down. will take 1000 OBO .”
“I do not have the time to finish rebuilding my 46 jeep so I am selling it. This jeep has been completely taken apart for a frame off restoration. The body was shot so I had a new heavy guage body custom bent and cut out. The floor pan is 11 gauge steel and the rest of the body panels are 16 gauge steel. I sandblasted the entire frame inside and out. It has 3 coats of rustoleum primer with 3 coats of rustoleum black paint. The new body panels are bare metal and not rusted. I have several original body parts such as windshield, hood, firewall, grille, tailgate and front fenders. I have 2 complete hurricane 4cyl. motors. One motor has a bad cylinder. Neither one has run for over 10 years as this jeep was stored in a garage since the 60’s. I have extra complete front and rear axles with leaf springs also. I will not part out any parts except the extra axles. This jeep is currently stripped down to the frame and ready to start reassembly. This is mainly a package deal. Please call with any questions. Cash only.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $2600. It’s a column shift with tool indents.

“52 Willys cj3a. Ford 289 v8, Ford transmission. Not running, needs rebuilt. Ran two years ago, good for off road $ 1,200 obo.
Trade for a 3 point lift for a Willys jeep, full pto set-up out the back, or winch to the front. Mostly farm jeep stuff.”
