“1962 willys jeep, runs good, lots of new parts, owned 4 the last 20 plus years, may trade for 4×4 atv of same value or enclosed car trailer 18′ or longer, muscle cars as well, what do you have?”
It runs and plows.

“This is a 1963 Willys Jeep CJ-5 that has a working hydraulic plow. The engine is a 225 Buick V6 engine that came out of a 1970 Jeep CJ-5. It has the original transmission and transfer case with the 3 speed and reverse. The engine does run a little rough and backfires on the drivers bank. I put new spark plugs, cap and rotor, wires, coil, and condenser on it and it smoothed out some but not all. I have only used it last winter and it worked great. I replaced all brake components including the master cylinder, all 4 wheel cylinders, and brake lines. It has brand new 4×4 lockout hubs on the front. The headlights on the jeep as well as the ones on the plow work.
It has the original drivers seat in it and I also have the original passenger seat that will be included if the purchaser wants it. It runs off a small plastic gas can. I have the original that was mounted under the drivers seat again, if the purchaser wants it. The plow looks 5-5 1/2 feet wide (I have not measured it). The front tires are the stock skinny size, the rears are wider (not sure what size) but all have good tread. I never got stuck with it and the 4×4 works great. The hydraulic pump for the plow does leak some. I’m not sure where but it is a very slow leak. The pump was manufactured in Grand Rapids Michigan. It has a homemade roof from steel bars, osb board and a couple 2×4’s. It will not come with a battery but I have one that can be used so you can hear it run and drive onto a trailer. It would be roadworthy if it had brake lights and turn signals that worked. “

(11/24/2014) Jim spotted this solid looking Tuxedo Park CJ-5. And, it has desert dogs to boot, a real rarity in the Tennessee area. Looks like the front bumper has been replaced.

Looks like a real nice CJ-5.
“Nicest CJ5 around. 1967. Soft top. Wench with remote control. Four speed tran. Recent rebuild. Everything works. Consider something trade.”
