Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1963 Jeep cj5 with inline-6 ford falcon motor, t90 3 speed transmission and twin stick dana18 transfercase. the motor was completely rebuilt, new warn locking hubs, new master cylinder, remanufactured holley 1904 carburetor, rear seat, and some other little stuff, 32×12.5 tires. The jeep doesn’t look like much, soft top is rough so it definitely needs some work cosmetically but as far as running goes it starts right up and runs great so you can fix it up if you want or just have fun with it as it is. ”

(12/08/2014) Might be worth a look given there are two jeeps, but both look rough.
“63 willys cj3b was running when parked two years ago. i just lost interest. f head 134 engine with three speed. brakes need master cylinder like they all do 4 wheel drive and transfer case all work. even has a heater but no top or doors. i put a one wire alterator on it and just drove it on trails. but i do have title. also a 63 cj5 parts jeep with a locked up transmission. i got the motor to run after i got it home but thats all. it has the same running gear and a p.t.o winch on it. also have a spare motor and manifolds that i got from a scrap metal man. ”
