Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “YOU ARE BIDDING ON A 1962 WILLYS JEEP FORWARD CONTROL. THE TRUCK WILL RUN AND DRIVE. THE 4 WORKS AS YOU WILL SEE IN THE PICTURES. IT HAS A NEW ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP. AND GOOD BATTERY. THE WOOD BED IS BAD. IT WILL NEED SOME WORK. THE GLASS LOOKS OK AND THERE IS 30 SOME THOUSAND MILES ON IT. IT HAS LOCK OUT HUBS THAT WORK. SEATS ARE OEM THEY WILL NEED RECOVERED. The FC runs and moves. Cab is rough. Windshield good. Had pickup bed but now has stake bed. Frame nice and solid. Good rims and tires. Started to upgrade brakes. T-90 needs rebuild.
Need to find a new home quick.

This doesn’t look too bad.
“1961 Forward Control Jeep Pickup. Jeep is pretty solid, with lots of surface rust. Runs really good, but not real fast. Mileage may or may not be in excess of 100,000.The windshield and back window look good….side windows are cracked. Like new radial tires. Four wheel drive works fine. Has rust on the corners of the dash. I have new fabric to cover the dash once repaired. This is a VERY RESTORABLE little truck, or drive it as is. These are not real common. Delivery available for a fee….Email for a quote.”
This seller has sold several FCs over the past couple of years.
“This truck does need a lot. I’m told all of the brakes were gone through at a cost of over $500. Also it was running before the bed was removed.
The last guy was going to make his own dash so no dash. Good passenger door, small rust in the corners compared to most. Broken windshield.

“runs drives but has no brakes. three speed transmission, 4wd with lockouts, and pto that comes out the front with a hand clutch. had a plow on it but was gone when i got it.pump is still there. has a rebuilt starter. back window has a crack. any other questions”
