This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “What you see is what you get an extremely rare military jeep in great restorable condition. I purchased last year with the intention to restore it but an injury forced sale. I’ve never seen one before, you never will again either. It’s def one of the last and one of the few remaining, and probably the best overall condition wise. “1960 FC170 Mostly original paint/patina green. All drivetrain components serviced and in good running condition. Trans is T98 4-speed. New armrests/seats covers/foam. Great truck everything in good working condition. I mean everything, lights, gauges, horn, etc… Has Ramsey winch bumper that was lightly customized to hold a Warn electric winch. This is a Texas/ New Mexico truck. Minimal rust. Current pictures available, just ask.”

(03/18/2017) It’s a project.
“65 Jeep FC150, complete cab, all rust repair parts ready. Rebuilt rustless frame, completely rebuilt front and rear ends. New brakes, bearings, seals, shoes, cycl’s.
Engine out, ran when removed. All drive train there and in decent shape.
Frame off restore started, cab off and on rollers ready for loading or blasting. Frame blasted, painted and rebuilt front and rear mounted with new Ubolts, shocks etc.
This is a classic Jeep has a clear title.
$1,200 in new parts already installed. This is a classic Jeep with the Dana 44 and 5:38 gears.
I have a Complete pictorial history of build up.”

Seller has two FC-170s for sale. The Busy Bee FC is the dually. Neither have titles. Both run and drive and seller indicates he has spent $8k on mechanicals on both. The bodies aren’t perfect. Seller planned to get bonded titles, but has decided to sell them instead. Contact seller via schuh1us@hbci.com. Seller also has an M-38 for sale.

(04/01/2017) Engine is stuck.
“I have parts to a Willys Jeep Forward Control 170. I am parting out or sell as a whole. Frame is in good shape except for two cracks which are easy to fix with a little welding (cracks as shown). The engine is locked and the radiator is damaged.The parts that are for sale:
Frame $500
Rear Leaf springs $150
Front Leaf springs $150
Front axle $300
Engine $300
Or whole thing $1200 or trade for regular Willys truck parts.”
