About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“For sale is a 1952 Willys M38A1 Army Jeep. Fully frame off restored a few years ago. No Rust or Rot! Rebuilt suspension, brakes, transmission, axles, transfer case, engine, new paint, new interior, new soft top, 5 new non directional military tires, the list goes on and on. I would rate it a 8 out of 10. Not 100% flawless, but very close. Runs like new, original 24 volt electric system. Every receipt and pictures come with the Jeep along will all the original manuals, and several boxes of of spare parts. Turn signals, and tail lights added to make vehicle street legal. Must sell, make me an offer. Asking $13,900.00 or best offer. Also would consider trades of similar value. (Let me know what you are thinking. The worst I can do is say no.)”
We had a ton of fun with this Jeep through this past summer when we blew the motor. Motor is out and disassembled. Floorboards rusted badly.
New gas tank, new master cylinder and new wheel cylinders all replaced 2 years ago. Radiator and hoses in great shape. Comes with soft top not pictured, but in great shape.
Would make a good Jeep project, but I’m not interested in restoring…looking to sell, $2500 or best offer or partial trade on Wrangler.”
“I have a 1957 Jeep Willy that I am no longer wanting to hang onto. It was a gift from my uncle and he has since passed away. It has all the original features that this era jeep would have, it only has $15,000 miles on it and it still has the original tires. This is a once in a lifetime find, and at a extremly low price. Please if interested contact me at 304-657-7523 thanks”
(03/21/2013) This must have gone through 1980s modification. Those mustang rear lights were popular. Nice rims.

Rear swing-a-away spare tire and dual gas can rack. Warn hubs & overdrive. Both cloth and aluminum tops with doors. New Goodyear wrangler P235/75PR15 M/S tires. Aluminum rims. High rise jack. Nice soft seats front & back. Current DMV tags and clear title. Street legal and great for off road. Orignal Dept. of Army Tech Manual TM 9-801”
“1952 M38-A1 in original condition Military Jeep with original dash plaques. Has original blackout lights. Has the military manual also. The Jeep is just like it came from the factory Also has the original heavy duty PTO winch Has under water fording kit installed. Just needs the two upright tubes to keep the exhaust working and the air intake when you ford rivers. (Submerge it) etc.. Currently registered on a non-op in my name. Has a clear title. The only thing not military are larger tires to make it go faster on the highway The hard top with doors is available for an extra $500. Can’t do pictures. If you want to see what it looks like Google it. Remember to take off $500.00 if you don’t want the hard top. Making it $1600. Which is a steal. I’m not open to offers”
“Very clean, 4 wheel drive, 4 speed with high and low range, motor has less than 10 miles on it after complete overhaul. New pistons, valves, valve guide, and harden seats. Has new brakes, wheel cylinders and master cylinder with silicone fluid to make it trouble free. This vehicle has a 24 volt electrical system. Excellent running order. Has aluminum doors to go on the cab.”
“I have a 1954 m38a1 pretty much all origonal and any changes made we kept most of the removed parts . It has always been kept inside so very little rust . Dont really need to sell but just putting it out there . I am willing to entertain trades so what do you have ?”
“I have a 1953 M38A1 marine corp jeep for sale asking 5000 for it. The jeep has all the original parts it is operating on the 24 volt system. I had the seats reupholstered and painted. The whole jeep has been gone through and checked. I only have a few little tinker things left to fix on it not much. I am going to finish it. kept inside under cover simply because it is beautiful. The only reason I am selling it is because I need the room in the shop.
If interested call five41five23nine303 thanks.”
This is an incomplete project with a mix of parts.
“I have cj2a that I was building, but I have to many projects to finish this one. It is a cj2a body mounted to a m38a1 frame. The frame is straight and crack free plus has been sand blasted and in primer. The body is in good shape for its age and new floor pans started; just need to finish welding in. It is sitting on dana 30 with disc brakes and rear dana 44. I have no motor transmission or transfer case. Plans where to put a chevy motor in it. Open to trades for 4×4 truck or suv.”
