“1941 Willys MB Jeep – Slat Grille
Asking $8500 or best reasonable offer.
This was the 1st year Jeeps were ever made. Has the one year only slat grille which is very rare.
Willys made its first 25,808 MBs Jeeps with a welded flat iron “slat” radiator grille which were produced from November 18, 1941 to March 6, 1942.
Runs & drives great! Solid Body no rust. Tires like new.
This Jeep has a Buick V6 Engine.
The Buick V6 engine tooling was sold to Kaiser-Jeep in the early 60’s and they were introduced as the “Dauntless V6″ into the Jeep CJ5, CJ6 & C101 for the 1966 model year. The 225 Buick V6 was offered as an option over 4 cylinder engines in 1966-1971 CJ5 and CJ6 Jeeps.
Great for a usable driver or is a great starter vehicle for a complete restoration!!
Has a clear AZ title.”

UPDATE: Price dropped to $5000.
(12/26/2016) A tailgate may have been added.
“V-6 Conversion Done Right. 12 volt upgrade. Runs. been stored.Needs right side axel. Very Rare! has Very Hrd to find Combat Wheels ! everthing on this Jeep is in great shape. This jeep has stories to tell. CASH/TRADE”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was No Price.
The seller guessed that this a Willys MA, but he was quickly educated by some folks on Facebook.
“This one is pretty much original and completely untouched. You will never find this Jeep again!
The newer seats are not installed just sitting in the body. Original seats are in there, but tore up. Please, Do not text or email if you are not interested in purchasing”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay
Pretty complete, but rusty.
“This is an as found 1944 Willys MB. This is a USMC jeep and has the undercoating and a small cut out on the hood for the air intake. This was pulled out of an old van body where it has been in storage for 50+ years. It has a ton of old paint that is coming off in chunks. The motor is stuck from carbon build up. The transmission and transfer case are free. It rolls just fine. There is some rust in the normal places. Under the hood is complete. This has four original and very nice combat wheels. The two wheels on the drivers side are not included. They are just for moving the jeep around because two of the combats have flats.
There is really not much to say that the pictures can’t show you. It is still 6 volt and has seelite headlight bulbs. The data plates were robbed off along time ago but the frame tag is intact. It has an M-series bumper and an M38A1 grab handle. This is sold as is, where is, and comes with a bill of sale only.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(07/12/2015) Ran twenty years ago.
“42′ Willys Jeep. Excellent condition, very little work needed. 90% original, has been converted to a 12 v, still has original engine, go devil. Upholstery is great, soft top, was running when stored 20 years ago. Needs a good home.”
Maybe someone can use this.
“Tub only for you MB Willy’s Jeep project.
If it is still listed, I still have it.”
It’s an M-38 that has a few MB items on it. The seller believes the windshield to be an MB windshield, but it appears to be an early CJ-2A windshield.

“I am selling my Willys M38 Jeep that was finished as a MB clone. This 1952 military jeep was built for the Korean war and is a true military jeep, but this one has the MB grille/bucket lights and older style windshield added.
Many new parts. The Willys runs and drives well and is parade ready. No oil leaks to speak of. Maybe one or two drips at the most. I drive this jeep every other day to the store and everybody honks and waves. This is a great jeep for you to have fun with the kids and grandkids as it has all the safety upgrades, such as blinkers, tail lights, seat belts, head lights, black out lights, and horn.
This jeep starts every time winter or summer. 4×4 works as it should. Not perfect, but ready to drive and have fun with. It cruises about 40 mph. The speedometer reads about 8 mph too fast so you’ll think you’re driving 48 mph! Clean Kansas Title.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4000
(11/19/2016) This may be a mix of a CJ body and WWII chassis.
“1942 Willys Jeep.
Runs and drives excellent, I’ve driven it all over and it’s really impressive how well it drives. Most of the gauges and lights don’t work, but should be easy to fix. There’s not a lot to these things. Has the original motor. No clue on the mileage. Has a manual 3spd transmission. Removable hard top. No doors. Converted to power steering. Converted to 12v.
