This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “i have a 1940’s jeep willy for sale. as you can tell it needs a lot of work. motor and transmission are complete. this vehicle has been parked for 25 years the transmission had locked up. it is a 4×4 i do not have a title for this vehicle but am willing to write a bill of sale. $700.00 cash price is firm.”

“I have a 1941 Willy’s Jeep for sale. I will be honest the Jeep got hit by a tree. Landed right on top of it. I believe it can still be repaired enough to drive. I had it running about 7 years ago while I was home on leave from the Army, but I have not touched it since. Look at the pictures and you will see the damage is pretty bad, but like I said you can fix it or use it for parts. Everything is there except the windshield that was smashed by the tree. If they do not come get it by Wednesday then its still for sale. ”

“44 jeep willys mb military jeep. 98% complete for a restoration. 5 combat wheels, all bone stock original drivetrain, body, frame and everything else thats on the jeep. Good restoration project for the serious jeep enthusiasts that wants all original. No title but can easily achieve one. “1945 Overland Willys Jeep, 9 louver grill, no tailgate. Engine has been started in last 10 years, runs rough. Reconstructed WWII frame (welded front end from an MB jeep), Oregon VIN, Virginia Title.
Includes canvas cover and windshield (not pictured) and all you see in the photos. Most all original parts remain and are in the back of the Jeep. The black&white pic is from approx 2004 before the jeep was disassembled for this project and is included for reference only.
This was a restoration project that was started and is unfinished. At some point painted red, but the original military green paint is under it. This has been in my family since 1995.
This Jeep is not in running condition. AS-IS, WHERE IS.”

Hasn’t been run in a few years.
“For being 74 years old this old girl is in pretty good shape. This has been in our family for about 45 years has been stored under cover or inside most of it’s life. Sorry to say that it has not been run for the last 6 or 8 years but has been inside a dry storage shed that whole time. Has less then 24,000 miles on it comes with a second set of axles, another window frame and old style gas cans, and one of the original seats. Motor was rebuilt in the 70’s but it only has been used to hunt with and has probably less then 2000 miles on it since the rebuild. Still a six volt system, my father ran an 8 volt tractor battery in it. Usually you find these in a field missing a bunch of stuff, rusted out and missing the motor.”
It’s a project. Seller lists it as a 1941.
