Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was sold for $6200 at an auction. Now listed for $12,000. Seller claims wife won’t let him keep it anymore (as if the seller had owned it a while), so he must sell it.

This was disassembled.
“i am selling a ww2 willys mb. IT HAS NO TITLE AND VIN PLATE IS COVERED UP SO BILL OF SALE ONLY. I can see where the vin plate looks to be still intact but a previous owner wiled the steering box over it so only way to find out if it is still intact is cut the steering off….. the jeeps 3rd piston has cracked so it will not start as it sits the whole front end including windsheild is off of the vehicle i would like to keep it that way and sell as it…”

Has a variety of updates.
“1942 willys jeep gpw flat fender. Made by ford during the war. Last owner did some upgrades. Needs new fuel pump. Has warn locking front hubs, nice tires. Has a later 40 willys motor. Will turn over. Needs a little work to be a dependable driver.”

“1945 Willys MB – s/n MB 430095 – DOD – 3 APRIL 1945, Hood Reg Number – 20696644
Partially restored to WWII configuration, there has been a lot of work done and there is still more to make it complete. It has been converted to 12v for easier starting. The engine appears to be a post-war replacement and runs great, transmission has been rebuilt, new brake lines, wiring etc. Email me for a complete list of items that have been installed. All that is needed is body work at this point and a few cosmetics.”
