Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1945 MB Willy’s jeep . True MB model jeep world war 2 was built 4-4-1945 with ordnance stamp on vin plates . Has 4,744 miles on body and less than 500 miles on rebuilt motor . Fires right up and runs great .
New parts :
-Electric fuel pump with blocker plate
– New carburetor
– New fuel lines with heat wrap on them
-New fuel filter
-New fuel tank
-New brake master cylinder
-New coil and new spark plugs
-New plug wires
-New oil filter
-Has oil changed
– Radiator flushed and changed
-New points and condenser
-New distributor cap and rotor button
-New super start battery
Jeep has owners manual as well as 4 way tire changer , leather top, 2 spare wheels and tires, and a reproduction style gas can that goes with it . $5,800 O.B.O”

This Seffes Auctioneers estate auction is for the Ken Yuly Military Vehicle collection. There are quite a few different jeep vehicles. There are MBs, GPWs, M-151s, M-170s, M-38s, M-274s, CJ-2A, trailers, parts, military Dodges, and more.
This has multiple mods.

“1945 Willys MB, franken Jeep. 225 Buick V6, with a mild cam. Sm 420 4 speed with a Novak front seal conversion and a Novak adapter to mate it to the transfer case. Dana/ Spicer 18 with a Novak machined aluminum oil pan. Warn overdrive Converted to Saginaw steering using a 70’s Cj Saginaw steering box, and Jeepster two hole front steering knuckle. Dana 44 rear with spool and Herm the overdrive guy full float kit. 11″ intermediate Cj drums on all corners and hanging pedal conversion. 7.50×16 tires. Not currently running, engine spins free and will fire on ether. If you have more questions please feel free to ask”

“Slatgrille Willys jeep, of the roughly 650,000 jeeps made in WWII only the first 26,000 were “slatgrilles” this jeep is rough with a ton of bondo and fiberglass slathered everywhere but the tub is still restorable, I have repaired much worse. It has the original axles, t84 trans and transfer case. From the front crossmember to the rear the frame is very solid but the original front frame horns have been heavily modified and need replacements. The motor is not original and total junk. It comes with a bill of sale. I do have a 1942 title i will throw in. I may trade for a less rare but better condition military or Cj2a project, an M151 project would definitely get my attention. 570 two38 1591.”
