This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. A few curious things about the body. I suspect this MB body is sitting on a CJ-3A or later frame and drivetrain. Note the boxes in the rear for the shocks have been removed and the front of the frame lacks gussets.

“1941 Willys MB military Jeep. With hard top and doors. Has a Ford straight 6 overhead valve turns over by hand running condition unknown. Manual transmission, twin stick transfer case. Body is in rough condition has sheet metal floor pan and original floor is rusted out. Lots of good restoration parts. The body is probably too far gone to be restored but would make a great rock crawler mud Bogger or Farmtruck. Sorry but due to scams I don’t open email.”

“This 1944 Willys MB spent most of its life in Connecticut and is powered by a 2,199cc “Go-Devil” flathead four mated to a 3-speed manual gearbox with a hi/lo range transfer case. A 2011 service included replacement of the seats, shifter hardware, axles, fuel canister, side storage box, and exterior graphics, while the engine oil was changed approximately 500 miles ago along with the front and rear differential fluids. This Willys is offered by the seller on behalf of a family friend and comes with records for replacement parts as well as a Connecticut bill of sale.”

“This jeep has been in my family since the early 80’s, and has always been kept inside. It runs, drives, and stops. I do not have the vin plate. However I do have the registration in my name for the jeep.
It comes with a set of axles, radiator, gas tank, steering box and column, and many more misc parts.
