About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Rare barn find- 1949 Willy’s Jeep delivery has been sitting in a barn for 30+ years and then my garage for the past 4 years. The beast was used as a grocery delivery vehicle in the 60ish in Western Iowa. Mileage is at 68,000. Pretty rust free but the drivers side floor board is a little soft. It has new brakes, exhaust, tires, battery, and fuel line. This vehicle has the L134 Go Devil engine in it- 2WD. We had grand hopes to rebuild but it just hasn’t happened. Below is a link for when I drove it into my garage in June. $7500 OBO. Clean title in hand. Thanks.”
“This cute Willys station wagon is a fun car with 3-speed column shift, overdrive and 2-wheel drive. No air conditioning, power steering or power brakes were available.
It is good looking, with no significant scratches, dings or rust. The paint, chrome and interior are good, it runs great and the ride is very pleasant.
Headlights, brake lights, turn signals, gauges, doors, windows and locks all work well, and she has new tires, brakes, kingpins and radiator. The engine starts easily cold or hot, the transmission shifts smoothly and she will cruise at 60 on the freeway, but is not allowed out in rain or snow.”
“1958 Willys Station Wagon, L6-226 Super Hurricane engine w/ 3 speed manual trans w/ Warn Overdrive, 4 wheel drive w/ 2 speed transfer case and locking hubs. Older restoration in fair condition- same owner 20+ years – this car is complete and running. Clean title – currently unregistered. ”
“I purchased this car in the late 1960,s. It’s been a project over the last 50 years. There is over $40k invested. Many new parts are installed & included. The Willys runs and the engine is strong. I have original Pink Slip for origional Willys, but wagon is a make up of many different cars.
It is has been chopped 8 inches, has shaved doors, has frenched tail lights, grill has been flipped, front fenders filled to change look, rear wheel wells have had front fender trims welded to body. The body has been professionally welded to the frame. Bodywork professionally repaired.
The Willys sits on a 1986 Buick Regal frame. The donor drive train is a 1990+/- Camaro IROC with 63,000 miles. The motor is a 305 IROC motor with a mild cam with many custom parts added. The transmission from the same car and is a 700R . Many new parts added to the engine & suspension.

“1962 willys station wagon frame. handmade body 225 dauntless oddfire rebuilt engine 4 wheel drive with hubs, 3 speed with warn overdrive front disk brakes everything new or rebuilt runs down the road fine or would be a great storefront addition open to offers”
Blaine spotted this one. There appear to be two wagons and a truck that will be auctioned off. I could only find pics of one wagon. Lots of other junkers, too, including a Willys Aero.
“Selling a 1955 willys wagon….. hurricane 6…. replaced floors…new gas tank… new brakes…runs drives and stops…good shape ..good frame. newer rims and tires … comes with plow and Chevy s10 blazer frame and running 4.3 drivetrain”
“1959 Jeep Willys Classic. Excellent condition. Notably mostly orig. stock condition and virtually no rust anywhere. Runs great. 3 on the tree. Gets attention and stops the crowds every time we take it out. Hardly any 50 Willys in the country still on the road or for sale, especially one this original and in this shape. Won best in show every time it was entered. Have too many toys and not enough garage space. Also selling my custom Harley and 2 pristine Mercedes convertibles if interested. If they sell then Im keeping my Willys. Price will go up as summer approaches. “
Mike spotted this Tender-like custom wagon for sale. I don’t have any contact info for it, but there is a reversed phone number on the For Sale sign in pic #3.
