About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Rare 1957 Willys panel delivery. It’s 4 wheel drive. Has rear barn doors and the 6-226 super hurricane L head motor. The engine cranks but not getting any spark. The body is pretty solid.”
This looks like a nice wagon. The hub caps are actually for early wagons (probably these aftermarket ones), but they do look good on it.
“It has the original flathead hurricane 6 engine and 3-speed on-the-column. It was delivered on 3/5/1959 to the original owner in Tacoma. I bought it from a widow and started fixing it up almost 20 years ago. At that time, we did new paint inside and out; new upholstery; and refinished the woodwork. Then it basically has been stored in the garage since then. My wife said it has to go, so recently it got a new exhaust system, battery, carburetor, distributor, plugs, fuel filter. Bumpers re-chromed. Tuned up and brakes checked. The mechanic says it is running, shifting and braking well. Undercarriage in good shape. Odometer likely turned over 100K
Very straight body. Have the hood ornament and a few cosmetic parts/pieces for buyer. Also have the original Owner’s Manual and Service Records, along with the receipts for all the work I’ve had done on it. Must see to appreciate. Face-to-face transaction, cash only, no trades. Do not contact me unless you are a serious buyer with the cash.”

“‘Red Hills Rods & Classics’ is very proud to offer you this ultra-rare, rotisserie restored 1955 Willys Kaiser 2-Door Sedan Delivery Wagon 4×4! The recipient of a 3-year no-expense spared, nut & bolt rotisserie restoration of the highest level, I feel safe to say it is most likely the finest example of its kind in the country! Finished in its factory correct President Red / Palm Beach Ivory, I think it’s also safe to say that it features the best-looking color combination available in 1955.
The wagon was in excellent original condition before the rotisserie restoration and was basically all there in its original form w/ absolutely no rust & no body damage whatsoever. Every single component inside & out was disassembled by hand and the body was placed on a rotisserie. The body panels are laser straight all of the way around, and the President Red / Palm Beach Ivory paint was polished to show-quality condition w/ a brilliant shine throughout. The bumpers & small pieces of brightwork were re-chromed are look ‘as new’. Every single component on the truck was completely restored or replaced w/ factory NOS parts. She sits on the original painted 15” Willys America 5-lug steel wheels, wrapped w/ Denman 7.5 x 15 tires. You can walk around this wagon a hundred times and not find a bad angle or a single distraction. It is as close to ‘flawless’ as you can get, period. The undercarriage is as nice as it is on top w/ every single component completely restored or replaced w/ factory NOS parts (see undercarriage photos).
Open the driver’s door and you will find a beautiful tan interior restored to ‘factory new’ condition throughout. All of the chrome trim pieces on the dash have been completely restored and all of the lights, blinkers and factory original gauges are in perfect working condition. The original steering wheel, factory original seats, headliner, painted dash, door panels, door handles & cranks, shifters, Hurst hardware, etc. are all in 100% ‘as new’ condition. No corners were cut and no stone was left unturned making sure that everything looked ‘factory fresh’ from front to back. Open the rear doors and you will only find more of the same, including glossy red paint throughout w/ beautiful oak cargo bed strips & matching spare wheel & tire. Even the screws & washers on the oak cargo bed strips are absolutely ‘flawless’. Please look closely at the photos and I think that you will agree that this is the finest ’55 Willys 4×4 Wagon that you have ever seen in your life!
Pop open the hood and inside the beautifully detailed engine bay you will find the fully-rebuilt #’s matching Continental ‘Super Hurricane’ 226ci 6-cylinder motor dressed in its factory correct colors, w/ all of its factory original components, including the oil-bath air filter, Carter 2V downdraft carburetor, mechanical fuel pump, 6-volt electrical system, 6-volt generator, Autolite tar-top battery, Fram external oil filter, etc. The motor is linked to the original Borg-Warner T-90 3-speed manual transmission w/ original Dana 18 transfer case, which feeds power to the original Dana 44 rear axle (4.88 gears), and the original Dana 25 front axle. The Warn locking hubs up front were added during the restoration. This amazing 1955 Willys Delivery Wagon 4×4 runs & drives beautifully, but it is truly the kind of vehicle that should be placed into a museum or high-end show truck collection.”
