Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Here’s a good price on a tub and fenders. The tub’s not perfect, but salvageable.

“I have a fiberglass jeep body tub (CJ2A i think), Flat fenders, hood, windshield and roll bar. No grille. The rollbar has been mounted to the tub and removed. The windshield has been mounted to the tub and removed. It is the frame only, no glass. The only other mounting holes are in the tub for a transmission hole. I think the hood and fenders are nice never installed pieces. I am selling the whole thing as one package. I don’t have a frame or title or any other jeep parts. This is a nice Not used tub and fenders. The tub has been in the weather and is faded primer( never painted ) and the fenders are painted green but look nice. $600.00 Call or text any questions. “1947 Willys CJ2A Body and Frame, includes fenders, hood and grill. The black one is a 195? CJ3A model, includes fenders only. Also, I have a frame for the CJ2A. FYI, All parts interchange on these so it’s possible to build one out of the two. The bodies and fenders are in “fair” shape only. Lots of rust and holes where there shouldn’t be holes. There are no axles, tires or any undercarrige included. Only the frame stacked on top is for sale, The frame with the axles attached is not for sale. It appears to be in good shape and straight. I do have data plates for both bodies. Please reply with any questions. The price is somewhat negotiable.”

“Selling JEEP M38A1 body which fits from a 1953-1971 Chassis (M38A1 or CJ-5)
-Southwest Jeep with no rust.
-Rear seat brackets attached.
-Fairly straight body
-As you can see in the photo, the floors are straight and solid with the original ribs
-Inside toolbox like new
-Under gas tank is solid floor
-Fender walls are straight
-Dash has radio cutout, though can be easily changed out. (bolt on)
-Rear panel was cut out for tailgate, however, rear panels are available
THIS IS A GREAT REPLACEMENT FOR YOUR RUSTY OLD JEEP BODY!!”

Has some scuffing.
“This is a brand new body tub for the Willys CJ2A. This is a new reproduction. The metal is the same thickness as the original and all the hat channel has the wood inserts. You will have to drill the mounting holes and the pedal holes but that is simple. This is in primer and will need to be scuffed up before painting. This is the only one I have and it is priced way cheaper than wholesale.
