This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I am selling a pair of matching kentrol fiberglass fenders. The fenders have never been mounted and are undercoated with a quality urethane coating. The fenders have not been painted and all of their mounting holes come pre-drilled. These retail for over $179 a fender, I would like $220 for the pair or best reasonable offer. “1949 Willys cj3a jeep TUB has been rebuilt little surface rust, new box tubing in place of old channel iron and a lot of new steel, tool box on passenger side still there and not rusted out $500 includes windshield frame, hood, grill, tailgate, and roll bar. I need it all gone. Jeep project that I don’t have time to finish. . There are a lot of little things that go with this jeep. If there is something you are looking for just ask and I will see if I have it.”

“jeep body molded by tj vanderbosch company [ they make jeep bodies for JC Whitney and other jeep restoration sites. body is a rough mold thats why its so much cheaper it will need work before paint . i cut out the a grill also but they stuck the mold and i have not heard from them if its fixed i cut out rear floor pan to fit my chassic as you can see in the pictures. but i still have it so you can glass it back in .ALSO have fenders and hood there a smoother molding and need less work to be ready for paint. Im supposed to recieve ed yet ”

UPDATE: Was $100. **SOLD**
It appears almost the entire rear passenger side has been cut out. I suspect the driver’s side is the same.
“Fiberglass Jeep tub – will fit early Jeep (flat fender models) CJ2A, CJ3A or MB. This tub is used, has some holes drilled in it, and some cracks in the rear portion. Structually sound, just needs some work. The tub is located in Las Vegas, however I will be in Fallon and Carson City the weekend of July 10 & 11 and will haul it to there if you wish to buy it.”

I’m pretty sure this is a fiberglass body. ACME continues to sell fiberglass, metal and aluminum flattie bodies, as noted below.
“This was a project that never got finished. It has a Buick 231/ turbo 350/ Spicer18/ dana44 with 5/38 gearing/ Summer brothers axils/ aluminum wheels. The body (tub, front fenders, and grill) is an acme with minimum rust. Also comes with a two piece windshield and extra grill (small headlight), windshield wipers, extra u-joints and back seat Asking 2000.00 or best offer.”
Here’s a pic of an ACME glass flattie body. Note the lack of tailgate. You can still purchase these at ACME for $2500:
ACME also sells metal bodies (steel (Early MB, MB, GPW, M-38, CJ-2A, CJ-3A, CJ-3B and even a mini slat grille) & aluminum), though none I see come without tailgates except for the MB bodies, but those have the normal mb characteristics.
UPDATE: Price dropped to $250
This was originally for sale back in June. At that time it included fenders, but was priced higher. The tub itself looks great on the outside.
