Seems in pretty good shape.

“This is a CJ2A tub in overall very decent, solid condition. The previous owner had it sandblasted and started replacing rusted panels and supports…then let it sit outside for some time. The rust you see is mainly surface rust from sitting. The tool box has already been removed (and is gone), so this would be an ideal tub to stretch for a rock crawler project. Rear floor and wheel wells are in very good condition. The dash has not been all cut-up for extra gauges, radio, speakers, etc.”

UPDATE: Price dropped to $1000. This CJ-6 has export VIN plates suggesting it was originally supposed to be exported.

“I have a Colorado titled 1963 right hand drive Jeep Willys CJ-6, one of the rarest CJ6s in the country. This one is the oldest RHDs, from what I could tell. I have multiple options for buying. Once sold, that’s it, it’s gone! Feel free to ask me any questions. I can provide pictures of any parts you’d like to see. I am looking for cash but might take a partial trades for planar machine, a radial saw, cnc router, or maybe other tools.

PARTS DESCRIBED:

Colorado Title: Clear Colorado Title ready to sign and hand over to the buyer. Goes with the VIN.

Export Plate: The export plate that I am referring to has English, Spanish & French on it. I don’t know what its called. I simply call it the “export plate.” Pictures can be seen with this ad. The original export plate was damaged, so I paid to have it remade and it came out wonderfully. I have only seen this plate on 1 or 2 jeep (pictures) in Europe. I have not seen it in the USA. Rare. (04/25/2020) The DJ-5 has the rear outboard springs. It may have a posi-traction rear. Given much fo the frame is boxed, this could be a good project frame.

“This is a like- new never installed Jeep CJ 3B tub and used DJ chassis.
The firewall is recessed to allow for a V-8 or different configuration than stock.
The tub and hood are made from galvanized material. The spot welds were covered to avoid oxidation.
The grille is an original one. I have no fenders or other parts.
The chassis is a Jeep DJ or 2 WD one, that is in very good condition, and is included.
Local delivery is negotiable.”
