This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The fender solution is unusual. They are curved rather than angular. I wish there was a clearer photo of the whole jeep.
UPDATE: Pics now provided. It’s not a completely unmolested jeep, but still quite stock. Check out those vintage tires. They kind of look like Desert Dog knock-offs.

“Was bought from second owner who purchased from forestry service in the 40’s.
Local Bay Area vehicle. Was garaged for the past twelve years.
No rust in pan, service rust only, really clean starter project.
Complety stock, go devil flathead four cylinder engine. Stock twin stick two speed transfercase.
Stock Dana 35’s.

(11/17/2014) Has some updates.
“This ‘ol girl has a Buick 231ci V6 swap with a TH350 with shift kit behind it mating, via AdvanceAdapters hardware, to the stock Dana 18 transfer case. Both motor and tranny are freshly rebuilt with less than 500 miles on either. It has not been a daily driver. Paint is about 2 years old, needs some touch up. There’s tinkering to be done here and there but she’s a real good ‘ol Jeep. Tires are brand new 35/12.5/15 Goodyear MTR Kevlar with zero wear.”
