Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This looks to be a CJ-2A chassis with a M-38 body and a MB/GPW windshield. That’s my best guess.

(09/16/2014) Has a new body.
“Getting ready to move and considering selling my CJ2a. She has been a great toy and I wouldn’t consider selling her if I wasn’t moving. BRAND NEW tires and rims. All fluids changed recently. New front seats. BRAND NEW top. All lights work. Lock out hubs. 4×4 works as it should. Horn works, gauges work, electrical work. Heater works great. Jeep has been a solid running jeep and has never let me down. Looking for $12,500 or best reasonable offer. I don’t have to sell it, just seeing if somebody else would enjoy it as much as I have. Thanks!”
