Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I’ve owned this Jeep for about 13 years now and have done a considerable amount of work to it over the years. Between work and kids it spends most of the time in the garage these days collecting dust. I run it around town every few weeks to keep the battery charged but it hasn’t been wheeling in years.
The body and chassis both show their age but work fine for the intended purpose. All other parts have been replaced at some point in the past decade. Probably $15K or so invested in that time.”

“I have a 1947 CJ 2A and I cannot handle this project right now. It is a flat fender Willys Jeep. The whole thing is complete. I own Redi-strip of phoenix now Clean Metal Industries, and striped this vehicle a long time ago thinking I was going to rebuild it. The tub is off the frame right now and upon sale the vehicle will be cleaned again and you will be receiving the jeep with the tub on the rolling frame , in bare metal form. SO you will be able to begin work on it right away. The vehicle has the 4 cylinder motor, it is 4×4 and is completely there. I really need to find a home for this and with all the pieces stripped and ready for body work, you have a great head start. I DO NOT have a title for this vehicle. I do have all the original tags for the vehicle.. The frame has not been striped but will gladly strip it when the project gets to that point.”

“I have a 1946 Willys cj2a. 134ci overhead valve engine that runs good with no smoke. Carburetor was recently rebuilt and all bushings are tight, cooling system is in good shape it holds water, body is mostly solid for its age, some rust under the gas tank and under the passenger seat. Will sell with or without the title. Looking to sell or trade. Interested in old motorcycles or scooters, firearms, or maybe something else.”
