This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. If it has a rear PTO, I don’t see it installed on the back.

“This is a barn find with original CJ2A model 4 cylinder high and low transfer case.
This is rusty but all is there. Extra seat frame. These are getting rare and expensive in good shape.
No title but can apply for lost title.

“1946 C2 JEEP WILLY. Later Jeep. 4 Cylinder Engine explains bogus clearance box on hood. Hasn’t run in 2-3 years. Should be easy to make roadable”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9500.
Pics of the body are dark, but it appears solid.
“I am selling my 1946 Willys CJ-2A Jeep; this Jeep is in good condition with minimal rust. The engine and transmission are both in good working order. This Jeep has few issues, minimal leaks to engine and transmission and T-case seals. The skin on the seats has been replaced to canvas material. The engine is original, tires are lightly used, brakes are in good condition, headlights are functional, horn is functional.”

Looks in good shape.
“DO NOT JUST BUY A COAT OF PAINT!!!!!
Engine checked out, freeze plug replaced, THAT was all that was wrong, full MAJOR tune up, flush radiator, oil change, drop and replace “ALL” fluids.
Gone thru and rebuilt the transmission, transfer case, all seals and gaskets. Rebuilt the front axle and steering knuckle, did the brakes, rebuilt the master cylinder, dried up all the leaks.
New cloth front and rear seats, new carpet floor, military style tires and a complete new set of BF Goodrich Radial All Terrain T/A’s on Black 15X7 Daytona’s(currently on vehicle).
Paint is almost new.
This is a matching numbers, all original Willy’s, about as mechanically sound as you are going to find, with receipts to back it up.
Ask is $12,750.00. There are cheaper Willy’s out there, but there aren’t any better, more mechanically sound one’s out there. Currently garaged in Lake Havasu City, AZ.
