Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Professonally rebuilt from the ground up. 1948 Willys Jeep. Motor, transmission, transfer case and both axles completely rebuilt. New brakes, new clutch, new brake lines, new exhaust, rebuild starter, rebuild carb, new water pump, new fuel pump , new shockes, new alternator, new clutch, new steering system, and New American made firestone Military tires on freshly bead lasted and powder coated old stock rims. Newly bead blasted body parts primed and painted stock blue color. Tub and tailgate are new from Omix built to OEM specs and I must say they are. Went with 3a tub instead of 2a in order to upgrade and gain extra 2″ of seat room between steering wheel and seat back. All new wires, gauges, cables and controls. Old stock seat frames refinished and recovered. All new rubber and all new glass.”

“i have a 1948 Cj2a Jeep Willies i am looking to sell. it has been completely restored from the ground up.. the body and frame have been restored, the axles have been rebuilt and all new breaks. the engine and transmission have also been rebuilt and all the electrical in new. she runs great but needs a new home, i dont have the garage space anymore. also comes with 1948 plates. pictures available upon request. “

“Needs to be restored or just fixed up don’t have the time to do it as much as I’d like to. It’s got the 4 cylinder motor and 3 speed tranny with 4wd. Was told motor runs but the starter needs rebuilt, needs tires due to dry rot. Comes with extra grill and headlights and some more parts I work in mesquite texas but go to mena Ar often so could pick up and bring back if buying. “
