About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“‘This is mostly a basket case jeep. I have a rolling chassis, T18 transfer case, T15 trans and T20 transfer case that goes with it. The jeep has a Tenn. title. I bought this to restore, but lost interest.”
“Auto restoration is a hobby of mine and I spent over 4 years meticulously repairing or replacing the entire vehicle with re-manufactured or the closest OEM replacement parts I could find.
“1948 Willys Jeep. This jeep is 90 percent original. Runs and drives great. Registered till Feb. 2014. I am firm on the price so serious inquires only.”
“Unique unfinished project jeep. 1947 WW II Military Jeep. All parts are here, just complete the build. Asking $2800 for body and all parts. Make me an offer.
Call or text…. 214 437 3971”
(04/16/2013) The mileage is supposed to be 3,901 miles. It doesn’t looks like it’s been used much OR it’s been rebuilt.
“Pretty much original. 3,901 miles! Garaged! Towing bar, spare tire with camo cover. Ammo box tool box. 4 extra studded snow tires and chains. Bench back seat, removable with storage compartment. front window goes up or down with swing out windows. It has a manual throttle control as well as a manual choke of course. 12 volt battery. Very nice bucket seats with rain covers. Roll bar. . Will sell for cash $4,400 OBO or I am willing to trade for a good quality, low miles, ATV/4 wheeler with a winch. Gun tote is a plus.”
“I have for sale 2 willys jeeps. The blue jeep is a 1952 cj3a with a “CLEAN TITLE” . It runs great and has brakes. The frame is in excellent shape and the drive train is completely operational. All this jeep needs is a new body and some wiring and it would make a great jeep. I have personally drove this jeep down the road and it drives great and seems reliable for a willys of this age. This is a second owner jeep. The red jeep is a 1948? and I have “NO TITLE” for this jeep. It has no engine but does have the transmission and transfer case. It is a parts jeep only. It does have a great looking radiator and some other great parts on it. I am selling them as a package deal. They are both being sold in “AS IS” condition with “NO WARRANTY”. The jeeps are being sold locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. I am asking $2000.00 OBO locally for both ,no reasonable offer refused. You may look at the jeeps by appointment. 443-553-2712 my name is Mike. Good luck bidding.”
