This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (08/15/2014) “1948 Willys Jeep CJ-2A. Semi-restored. Body and drive train are original. Water pump, thermometer replaced, shocks, instrument panel, rear seat cushions, master horn button repaired. It’s a project.
“I purchased this Toledo Built 1942 Willys CJ-2A several years ago with the intent to rebuild it. However, my eyes were bigger than my stomach, and after realizing the time and energy required for such an extensive rebuild (and getting married), I have decided to part with it. If you have any questions, please call or text. I would be happy to have you come and see it. All major components are present (Hood, Windshield, Tailgate, Fenders, Engine, Transmission, Transfer Case, Axles, etc.) as well as four matching wheels (front wheel removed during initial attempt at disassembly) and ID plate. Somewhat flexible on price, I just want to make sure it’s used for a good purpose.”

(09/10/2012) It looks like a variety of parts were left on the jeep when it got painted.
