This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “231 buick engine, the current engine is weak, but runs OK.. I have another that I would be willing to include which a 31 buick that I never got around to installing.
turbo 350 tranny, true track front end with 4:11 gear ratio, locked out rear end with 4:11 gear ratio, bilstein long travel shocks, ARB on board compressor and holding tank, high flow power steering, electric fans, curstom front bumper and rock guard, custom rear bumper, swing away tire rack, stero/cb, tilt steering column, bucket seats with 4 point harness, original rear seat, custom roll bar with 6 point harness, 35 x12.5×15 super swampers ( a little dry rotted but still OK ) bikini top, soft top and doors, plus more extras I am sure I am forgetting other things. NO joy rides without cash in my hand”

This mostly original CJ-2A looks solid.

(08/07/2014) This has a number of updates.
“1946 Willys CJ-2A. Notes: WILLY’s!!!! This is a 1946 Willy’s CJ2A Rock Crawler. This thing is cool. It has a well built Chevy 350 Motor with a 4 Speed Manual Transmission. This thing is sitting on 1 ton axles with a welded rear and locked front and 38″ Super Swampers. This thing has some serious get up and go. Like most older Jeeps, it is a work in progress and needs some finishing touches, but it runs and drives and is ready for some fun the way it sits. If you want to get some serious attention around town or in the hills, this one will get it for you.”
