Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The axles are complete as far as I know, but came with a spare set of repeza jointed front axle shafts. As well as the front and rear driveshafts.

(07/11/2010) “Well-modified vintage ’47 Willys Jeep CJ2A – popular engine conversion and upgraded brakes : running 3.8-Liter Buick V6 231 with new Chevy disc brakes up front all new parts for the original 9 inch drums. Improved handling courtesy of Saginaw manual steering inluding a tilt GM style column from a CJ7. Spring over lift using original springs with new Skyjacker Shocks and Ubolts. Fenders and hood have been removed for convience. T90 transmission rebuilt for the engine conversion — mostly new internal parts just needs installed along with your choice of clutch activation. Many new or refurbished parts. CLEAR TITLE (not common for a 1947 jeep). This is the old flatfender jeep everybody wants!.
Why such a bargain price? A few parts are needed and some just need to be put back on.
Extras (negotiable):
– second Buick V6 (disassembled)
– 2 soft tops and doors (plus another set of white soft doors)
