About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“I have an AWESOME 1947 Jeep Willys for sale or trade in excellent condition Only has 3,000 since complete restoration!!! Looking for 1967-1969 Camaro Convertible may put cash with Jeep Runs and drives AWESOME…. Tons of power!! To Many New Parts to List Manual transmission Very powerful “Built” V6 engine Brand new tires I am asking $24,500 or willing to trade for Classic car, Newer SUV, or nice boat.”
“FIRST $600.00 takes it or an interesting trade. ASAP
Save this Willys. We have stored this inside for 20 years and outside for the last two and it is time to find it a good home. The hood and fenders (not pictured) are in good shape the tailgate, windshield, and body have been filled over the years. The Jeep has a small block V-8, which is a boat anchor, but the parts to switch are presumably there. It has only one wheel, the rest appropriated for other uses before we got it. I won’t give it away and would consider interesting trades. Consulting Jeep parts and restoration sites – the hood and fenders are worth something. It is not titled but the dash plate is there. 1943 is a guess. Half money from a restoration site for the hood, grill, fenders, and tailgate is $800. Plus the drive line, etc. is worth something. Don’t need to get all of that and would like to sell soon”
This has some upgrades, including the Hudson Steering mod.
“My loss is your gain! It is going to a good cause: college fund for a single parent’s child.
History: There have been only two previous owners; clear title is present. This CJ2A has been garaged over the past 5 years. It is in superb mechanical shape and runs like a charm. This has a warn overdrive, which makes driving so much easier and highway speeds possible. Hudson steering has been installed and makes steering a breeze. The engine has been totally rebuilt and retrofitted for unleaded gas. The oil pressure runs 40-50 psi. The following renovations and modification have been performed:
“Body — Fair to good. Engine — Vgood — Rare 6-161 Kaiser Supersonic. Trans — Good — T90 3 speed. Tires, Brakes and Spare — Excellent. Seats — Excellent. Electrical — Fair — 6 volt system (lights disconnected). Front towbar, additional small accessories and parts, i.e. manual, tire mount, light fixtures, headlight switches, etc. This jeep was purchased in Colorado in 2010. Trailered to AZ in 2012. Got it into running condition with carb rebuild, new tires, new seats and fuel line repairs. Nice project jeep for someone.”
Seling a 1948 cj2a Willys Jeep. Selling it for my brother who lives out of town. I have not attempted to start it in a few years but it ran great when it did. Has a hard top and a few spare parts. Needs restoration or can be used as a plow truck. Pics to follow. Email for more info or a time to see it in person. Have clean title. Probally needs to be towed unless I have time to get it working.”
