This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1947 willys jeep for sale. Farm fresh. Does not run. Great for parts or restoration.
Again does not run and there is no title.

Totally restored? This jeep appears to have two different sets of data plates. It looks like it has 1 of 3 early plates on the dash and an additional later data plate on the passenger box.

It’s a project. The frame looks like it’s for a later model CJ-5, which means you’ll need a later model body should you want to properly mount it.
“It’s a 1946 willys cj2a. It sitting on a brand new cj5 chassis. New frame. Brand new 4inch spring lift. All new polyurethane suspension bushings. All new ballpoints tie rods. And u joints. New brakes pads rotors and calipers etc. fresh 258 inline 6 aftermarket cam and valve train, T18 trans with new clutch.
Body has custom floors and firewall designed to fit my 6ft self. And it’s properly mounted to the chassis. But body needs finished. Or. Drop on a cj5 body and call it a day. “
