About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“You are bidding on a 1946 military Jeep Willys (Army). As you can see from the pictures it has been partially restored. It has new shocks and new brakes. Also new Warn winch. It has been recently painted and the seats have been replaced. Some of the sheet metal has been redone. It is in good working condition. We are selling only because the family member that used it is elderly and can no longer get in and out of it. Please note that the title lists Exempt on mileage. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions. ”

(09/11/2012) Here’s a nice looking militarized CJ-2A.
“Attention re-enactors, parade goers, or attention seekers: 1948 Willys converted into a WWII MB Jeep. Restored completely 2 years ago with rebuilt original flathead L-134 “go devil” engine, rebuilt T-80 transmission, new gauges, gas tank, brakes, windshield, radiator, military non-directional tires, M1 Garand holster, new wiring, horn, added turn-signals, canvas, new solid tailgate and tire mount and jerrycan rack like the WWII MB, etc. Converted to 12 volt. Everything in this has been gone over and rebuilt with <5,000 miles on it. Over $10K in reciepts”
(09/17/2012) There might be some value here. It runs, but no title.
“1947 willys cj2a for sale. Not finding the time to finish the restoration. Body is vary solid for a 1947. The top end of motor has been rebuilt, Runs good, carb isn”t original, but i have the correct carter that needs a rebuild kit to put on it. 1st gear isn’t good but have a good replacement gear cluster to put in. Been sitting the last two years and recently gave it a jump and started rite up! The 6volt generator charges well but battery is shot. Brakes are down, may pump up? No title,”
“Project Jeep only missing seats and fuel tank (that way when I bought it). It will run, needs fluids put back in it. Tub is pretty rough, and has been taken off, frame was sandblasted and osphoed and undercoated. It has Samurai axels (front one needs put in, back one is in already). It is a project, that I do not have the time to finish anytime soon. $1000.00 firm. If I don’t sell him then thats ok, I will complete him in a couple years.”
