Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Looks like a nice jeep.
“Great Jeep. Everything runs great, it’s a lot of fun. Buick V6 engine, overhauled 3,000 miles ago. Off Road Tires in good shape. I drove it from Michigan to Arizona 2 years ago so that proves its reliability. I’ve re-built the brakes and added an 8k winch. Added a sound system and really nice speakers. It can be left as is or it can be restored to a more original look. Make an offer and ill consider. No Trades.”

(02/24/2014) I can’t tell for sure, but this stock jeep looks like it might have a rare set of “Hublock” hubs. My second guess are a set of rare Allstate hubs. Runs and drives.
“Looking to sell my 1948 CJ2A Willys Jeep pulled from a barn. It is all original, and runs like a champ. Started and drove in 0 degree weather and made it around town in 14″ of snow. Just replaced headlamps, distributor, plugs, wires, shocks, etc”

(03/20/2014) Ex Forest Service Jeep?
“This is a very cool classic Willys CJ-2a Jeep. This particular Jeep was modified very early on with a high-side kit and Expedition rack to serve as a Forest Service fire trail go-anywhere rig. The back seat was removed, a utility lock box placed, and the Expedition rack built to hold two 5-gallon fuel cans w/a locking strap, Hi-lift Jack w/same, and a full-sized matching spare tire. It was painted Fire Engine Red way back then, and has a wonderful vintage patina that really goes with the overall vibe of the rig.

I purchased it 2 yrs ago to complete the restoration and have installed new brakes and master cyl fule pump ,carb, water pump, hoses and belts. new military tires , wires to complet restoration tub needs floor pan pass side . I have starterd new project ineed more room to work””
