About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“46 willys parts jeep. no title, for parts only. many good parts on this rig. I’m sure I could get more if I wanted to take the time to part out, and sell piece by piece, but I have had this thing for 12yrs and just want it gone. with the jeep come 2 soft doors, and 4 decent wheels. I have the glass for the winshield, but not the gaskets that go with them. price is firm, but part trade for the right item is a possibility.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $800 . . . Anyone checked this out?
(08/12/2011) This is a project, but it might be a deal considering the stainless tub.

There’s value here, but without a body I’m afraid the seller is going to take a hit on this project.
“1947 Jeep CJ2a. Started restoration from frame up. Have sandblasted and chassis black all steel support items. All parts are either bead blasted and painted , rebuilt or new. Every nut bolt and clip has been removed cleaned and painted. Too many new parts to list. Has clean title and vin on frame. Have only a few body parts that are salvageable so purchase of body is next and due to financial reasons that isn’t in the near future. Have over 5000.00 and three years invested. Asking 3900.00 pick up only. More info and pics upon request. All brake system and fuel system is new but is dry, didn’t add any fluids as didn’t know how long till it could be finished. “Fully restored 1948 CJ2A Four Wheel Drive Willys Jeep.
Everything works and is in great condition, even has the original factory color!
This show Jeep is even an AACA (Antique Automobile Club of America) 1st Place winner!!!
Originally the Jeep came from a country estate in Pennsylvania and it NEVER had any rust on the body!
My Father did a full body off restoration 4 years ago and it has been sitting in his clean, dry basement (he drained the gas) ever since.
As you can see from the picture the vehicle only has 27.5 miles since he finished restoring it… this has to be one of the nicest Jeeps in the entire country!!!”

“1947 Jeep CJ-2A Willys, civilian version jeep. I bought this jeep 12 years ago with the plan to restore. It was running when I bought it. Stripped, Sandblasted, new seals, New body mounts, new suspension, new exhaust and that is where I stopped. Jeep has been sitting either in garage or carport for 10 years. Still Turns over (with a wrench, needs wiring etc. ) needs the final restoration. Cool project and wish I had time to finish. Looking to trade for something usable for my family now. Jetski, running vehicle or even a new Deck. Reply via email with any Possibility.”

I don’t exactly know why this turned up in my search today, but what the heck. I’ll post anyway. It is supposed to be Jewel Stainless, too. At least one conversion calculator puts the price of this at around $2400.
