Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “( 2) 1946 Willy’s Jeeps CJ-2A one is a military version with a 3 speed on the floor and a rear Power take off .it has a half cab with doors .
The other one is a civlian model with a 3 speed on the colunm (very rare only 4000 made) These are the REAL Jeeps The jeeps that started it all.
They were first used in WW 2 & Korea,
Also these are the Jeeps that you see on the T.V. show M.A.S.H.
These are the Jeeps that the old Veterans drive in the parades.
