This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
(02/01/2022) Listed as a 1949, the serial number for the chassis is near the end of the 1948 production run. This lacks an engine. The hardtop does appear custom.
“1948 Willys CJ2A Jeep. $2000/obo. Sincere, old Montana jeep, surprisingly rust-free body, some bondo. No motor. Title (Helena, 1971); title says 1949 but I was informed the serial number is 1948 production. Unique, custom, well-built, steel full cab, therefore no original windshield frame or tailgate. Floors minor rust-out, bed very solid and straight, toolbox replaced. Some metal sheeting tacked on exterior of body. Original radiator and toolbox lid included. 16” rims, tires have air but need replaced”

No title honestly it’s pretty rough but could be restored or a lot of good hard to find parts. All the tags are on it yet. 1000 bucks come get it. “1948 Willys Jeep. In good shape, runs but needs work to be drivable. Has WW2 Ford Jeep engine install in it at this time (1942 GPW) Has some rust in the floor braces. Has new tires. Come with boxes of extra parts- gaskets, hoses, brakes, driveshafts, etc. Also includes extra axles with lockers and disc brakes, extra engine and transmission. Transmission has GM adapter. Clean and clear title in hand. If the ad is up, it’s for sale. Will not answer asking if it available. Low-ballers will be ignored.”
