Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I took this Jeep out from an old barn in P.A. that was stored for 25 years. I can show you pictures. Although has its share of rust, its all there and so is the motor. I havent had it running but the gentleman I purchased it from had it cranking days prior to the sale. Very cool and awesome project piece. It has a gray/blue airforce looking paint under a olive green paint job. Not exactly sure what I have but very cool and sharp looking. I will try and get pictures a.s.a.p. 848-203-7856”

(05/05/2012) I dont’ think much of this was disassembled before the green paint was applied.
“1947 jeep willys cj2a. runs and drives but needs work. the outside of the body and floor has been redone with new metal, the front of the frame has also been redone. the motor runs perfect and transmission shifts good. the headlights and tail lights work but i can’t get the brake lights to work. email me with whatever you have for a trade and i will get right back to you not interested in any boats or snowmobiles but will consider almost anything else ”

The reason I’m selling this Jeep is because I am in the USCG and I’m transferring this summer and I do not have the time to replace the engine and get the Jeep back to 100%. I would prefer a local buyer. Price is somewhat flexible pending your shipping/transport arraignments.”
