Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Late 1947 Willys Jeep, Model CJ-2A. Very original, complete and authentic but non-operational. 5-16″ original rims, 3 virtually un-used 6:00-16 NDT tires, 1 damaged and the spare is poor. The engine turns freely but has not run in many years. Fuel tank is spotless inside. Has original data plates, tow bar. No speedo. Seats, glass and paint in poor condition. Perfect low cost project vehicle. Very restorable.
Can be seen in Orinda. Reply with phone number and I’ll call you.
Operational 1946 CJ-2A also available.”

This has a replacement body. Includes overdrive. Looks like a good price.
