About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Hard to find Willys Jeep. Good title, runs good, straight body, no rattles.
Ford 4 cylinder installed before I got it but done right. New starter, fuel pump and new electric fuel pump. All four tires in good shape, comes with tow bar. Kept in garage, ready for hunting or just driving around. Hate to see it go.”
“I am selling my 1948 jeep willies. It was running when I put it in my garage about 3 years ago, but selling as is. Everything is original on it, except the seats. NO EMAILS phone calls only. I will only respond to serious parties”

“This 1946 Willys Jeep was purchased to ride around on our property We have had it several years and it is driven almost daily. Runs and drives great. Have only had to do general maintenance (oil change etc…) We have no title and the jeep has no VIN. Has PTO that works There are a few patches in the floor pans, but very little rust. Selling as is. Email me if you have any questions.”
“I am selling my 1948 Willys Jeep. I have owned it for about 7 years and just don’t have the time to use or fix it. I rebuilt the original L-head 4-cylinder motor about 3 years ago because it had a rod knocking. Runs smooth now. In the last few years I have replaced the master cylinder, installed new clutch and new Solex carb, replaced the starter, installed alternator, installed Superlift 2.5″ lift springs, added winch and winch mount( Warn M8000). The floors were replaced by the previous owner. It now sits on 31″ BFG tires on black Cragar Soft 8 wheels. Right now it needs the brakes worked on, the lines are good but it needs new brake shoes, a wheel cylinder and a bleeder screw replaced. I have the title in my name. $2800 with winch or $2500 without winch and winch mount. Would prefer not to trade unless you make it worth while. Thank You.”
“Lots invested,, 225 V6 Swapped in, 31 inch BFG Tires with less than 20 miles on them. Great Ranch vehicle, or for driving around the neighborhood, but not a highway or daily driver. What do you have to trade?”
(02/20/2012) The seller also has a 1947 CJ-2A for sale, though I couldn’t find the ad for it. I see nothing to suggest this is a VEC.
“Have Title. Also have a 1947 for sale if interested. See posting for 1947 Wilys Jeep for pictures.
Please e-mail John for more information, please include the best way of contact.
Thanks!”
“1946 willys CJ-2A, original column shift, It runs & drives, strong little engine. Body is rough and rusted out in places.. Ramsey 8000lb winch included. Also have lots of spare parts, including another engine and tranny, grilles, differentials, wheels, frames, you name it, i probably have it if its for a Willys. would like to make a package deal for a fair price. engine, tranny/transfer case and drivetrain are worth at least, or more than the asking price, check ebay and you will agree.
$ 1,200.00 cash or best offer for jeep ONLY, with extra parts for sale if you want to deal, im sure we can make a deal thats attractive and fair. I will consider delivery within 75 miles if we make a deal on jeep and some of the extras.”
