This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This is a project.
“I have a solid little willys that I don’t have time to finish. All of the metal is solid and good (one small patch in back needed). It has a 289 hipo mustang engine that runs. All the other drivetrain is stock but the steering box was relocated. This is a project but it would make a great winter project. Not much cooler than a old flat fender jeep. I have other parts too! Steering column, seats, roll bar etc.”

“1948 and 1949 willys jeeps for sale one rebuilt 4cyl. flat head, one rebuilt frame,one and a half, complete bodies, one hard top, one big tool extention box, tires wheels and every thing else in can find after six years of puting it all together to make one willys jeep.. reason for selling, is i broke my shoulder and will have replacment surgury in a while and i cant finsh the project… ALL OR NOTHING I WONT PART OUT i can help haul to your location for .75 cents a mile like i said make me an offer… might do trades depends??? metal theives stole some on the body parts, the front clip and the radiators i have one radiator that is not tested…. make offer,,, due to work im only home on sunday”

*283 chevy V8 with block-hugger headers and Flowmaster exhaust mated to a Muncie rock crusher 4 speed/Dana 18 transfer case

The jeep currently does not run (needs battery and adaptor between transfer case and transmission). It also needs to be finished, all the parts are there I just don’t have the time to complete it. Good running jeep last time I drove it. The title is free and clear and in my possession. No trades.”

“I have for sale this willys jeep. It is a rolling frame only, no motor, transmission, transfer or drive shafts. What you see is what you get. This jeep does have rust through and rust repairs. It has the windshield frame, fenders, hood, grill, tub, tailgate, gas tank, front axle and springs, rear axles and springs, tool box lid and steering sector. It is a parts jeep only no title. I am asking $575 or best offer.”
This had a CJ-3A Hardtop. Probably easier to get a 3A windshield than redo the hardtop to fit the 2A windshield. This has a variety of updates.
“Cheap Jeep!! Its been fun but I have decided to move on to other adventures and projects. Time to let this one go for which I will be taking a hit in the wallet of course. Can be driven but needs some work to make this a daily runner. Brakes work great with upgraded master cylinder, Cherokee pedals, hydraulic clutch, LED tail lights, growler siren for horn, and has a hood.

THIS JEEP WAS ORIGINALLY EQUIPPED AS A FIRE JEEP, THIS IS WHY THE MILEAGE IS LOW. THE BODY HAS ABSOLUTELY NO ROT BUT DOES HAVE SURFACE RUST. MINOR BUT REPAIRABLE DAMAGE TO LEFT FENDER (BACK) AND MINOR DAMAGE TO REAR RIGHT 1/4 EXTENSION WHERE IT MEETS WITH TAIL GATE. REAR MAIL SEAL, CLUTCH, CLUTCH BEARING, FLYWHEEL, EXHAUST MANIFOLD AND TRANSMISSION SEALS WERE REPLACED.
