“For sale is my 1948 Willys CJ2a – $4,000.00. Great little jeep for driving around town and catching everyones eye or driving back in the woods to get your deer.
The Good:
It has all the original running gear (all the gears R, 1-3, low/high, 4×2 and 4×4 work)
The body has been redone to remove all the rust and replaced with new metal.
It has about 30K miles on it and runs great.
Stops well with solid brake system (original drum brakes so doesn’t stop on a dime like modern cars, can send a link for a conversion if you like, but they work fine)
Paint is Jeep Rescue Green (the green that Jeep is currently using on their new Wranglers)
Clean and Clear title in hand!
What needs to be done:
Exhaust, no muffler on it right now. I can send you a link where you can buy a complete (from header to tailpipe) orignial exhuast for 180 bucks.
Fan belt squeeks (old dried out fan belt may be replaced just depends on if it sells before i can get to the store and get a new one)
For less than the price of a 4 wheeler you can do all the same great stuff and drive it on the road with some style. Serious Inquirys only please 704-880-5939, love to talk about the jeep but can’t do it with everyone.”

“For sale is 1948 cj2a willys jeep, this vehicle does not have title. Bill of sale only, the willys has all major components less the air cleaner, it was converted to 12 v and does have engine transmission, transfer case, axels, and all that. The two front seat frames are there, and has two bar, body does need work but is not the worst I’ve seen. Very doable project, the jeep ran in 2006 but I have not the time to get it moving again. Will consider any reasonable offer.”

“Jeep has original flathead four cylinder, original trans and transfer case as well as axles. It has all matching serial tags, frame, firewall, etc. The body has some rust repair needed but can be fixed by someone with the knowledge and skills. I have a roll bar for this model in mint shape and original seat frames. It has been a family project for a while and we just don’t have the time for it. We are mainly looking to sell but may trade for a quad or motorcycle, maybe something else? I have all DMV forms to register and drive on the road when it is ready. It won’t take much it ran fine about ten years back when it was parked.”
