Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1946 willys jeep cj2a runs good shifts good 4 wheel drive works good is registered I use it for hunting and fishing and around the property take it to the store once in a while .its rough but works good used it for deer season this year has new tubes in the tires.”
It’s got the wrong windshield, but otherwise looks like there might be value.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $600
I suspect this isn’t a ’45.
“1945 Willlys Cj2a. Flat Head 4 cylinder engine in place and turns over with a wrench. Transmission and transfercase gone from jeep but there are many good parts left (see pics). Body tough but fairly solid. Wheels and tires are not included, they are borrowed. $600.00 Offers considered.”

engine is a rebuilt 4.3 chev v6 with quadrajet- dual elctric fuel pumps
trans is a muncie SM420 with thumb throttle- advanced adaptors setup to a Dana 300 tansfer case
front and rear dana 44’s ,
front is open with disc brakes- rear is locked with a detroit and disc brakes- also has a fully functional parking brake
chassis has a ramsey 8000 lb winch

full cage that is tied into the frame-
off road lights that are led- mega bright
rock lights working tailamps, headlamps- horn and wipers
front end has a gussetted ,braced steering box with power crossover steering
has a spare tire carrier that holds 2 jerry cans, hi lift jack and full size spare

cupholder-fire extinguisher, toyota supra seats founted to the cage
dual optima red tops with batter disconnect- amfm cd- plus cb
has a rear fold and tumble seat with storage below
4 point seatbelts
5 33″ x17″ bfg tires has a rear mounted, recessed fuel cell with a protective metal skid plate

Here’s another good looking CJ-2A in the Boise area for sale. There have been several lately. Of course, I had to move away for that to happen!

This generally looks pretty good except for the unusual bow/crack/look of the passenger side above the drain hole.
