This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1948 original military Willys Jeep with bunch of upgrades. The body is in great shape no rust, fresh paint, new rebuilt 2.3 carbureted Ford Ranger Motor. Transmission and clutch are in great condition. It has also upgraded with power steering as well. It comes with matching 5 new off road tires and wheels. It’s a running project.
“1948 Willys Jeep CJ-2A, clear title, this is a project!
It is complete but the windshield is need of repairs. New battery, plugs, wires, cap rotor, fuel pump, coil, etc. IT DOES RUN, it starts easily and will run and drive around however it has no brakes! So there will be no test drives.
It is complete and in good shape considering its age, but it does need some work before it can be put on the road. We just do not have the time to invest in it right now and its in the way at our shop. The parts alone are worth more than our asking price, we just dont want to be the ones to break it up considering it is all complete. How many of these do you see around!!!
Includes one set of road wheels and tires and one set of military wheels and tires.

The front bumper appears original, yet isn’t right for a CJ-2A.

“Frame has been cleaned up, tub needs a lot of work, but is original. comes with a best top soft top in ok condition and a wrangler roll bar that could be used in it. Also comes with some other extras to. This jeep is a project and is basically the leftovers from my jeep project, I was going to build a bogger out of it but just dont have the time.
No engine or trans, I have a radiator that would work for it . Super nice frame

(07/28/2013) The seller lists this as a 1952, but it has a MB/GPW body and a CJ-2A windshield.
“52 Jeep willy’s. 4cyl, 3pd manual, all original drive train. Runs very well. well maintain throughout the years. Just used for hunting trips. 4×4 in good shape. low usage (miles N/A).
