This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Original “Go Devil” L-head engine that was rebuilt by previous owner
Original T-90 transmission with working floor starter button
New bumpers and rear bumper-etts / newer gauges / CJ3 windshield
Fiberglass body with steel hood, fenders and tailgate
Owners manual and Service Manual INCLUDED
Has been used as a daily driver for over 1 year …. recently had all servicing done at Pep Boys
Leaks a little oil, but nothing major …. has a slight chatter in 3rd gear while decelerating ( have a new transmission but old one still works fine )
Runs and drives like a 1947 Willys should
Asking $6800. … negotiable”

This looks solid. The drain holes appear plugged, but I can’t tell for sure.

“1947 Willys CJ-2A — no title. For an experienced rebuilder — we bit off more than we could chew!! Good frame, tub needs to be replaced. Needs new tires, seats, gas tank, electrical and cooling. “Very rare Koenig Ironworks hard top for a Willys CJ2A Jeep. this will fit a CJ3a with slight modification, but not 3b or 5. The whole top disassembles for easy transport. It’s assembled right now. All steel, very little rust. Glass is intact, one side pane has a crack.

“Great project. Has rebuilt transmission and transfer case, new clutch kit, 12 volt starter, master cylinder, and the carb was rebuilt. Have all receipts for parts purchased. Parts are included but not installed. Original 4 cyl, ran about a year ago, before tear down for trans and clutch work. We started the work and fell into another project that caught our eye, this one has to go. There is a title from Louisiana, but it is not signed or notarized so it will need someone who is willing to do some leg work.”
