Looks solid, but it isn’t a ‘classic historical army vehicle’.
“I’m posting this ad for my dad, he’s selling a 1946 Jeep Willy.
It not only looks great, but it also runs great. Nothing needs to be done to it, just needs you behind the wheel!
Its a charcoal gray exterior with burgandy leather seats. Seats 4 and has storage under passanger seat.
3 speed convertable- top not included. This is a classic historical army vehicle. It’s been seen in 4th of July parades, and in Veterans outtings.
Asking $7,750 OBO. Serious offers ONLY. It is priced to sell.
Will remove post when it’s no longer avaliable
Call Jeff at 614-579-one7nine1”

Philip is selling this CJ-2A. He wants to find a J-10 or J-20 for his next project.
“1946 Jeep Willys.
Runs, drives and stops.
Engine, drivetrain and most body panels original.
Have title, tag and registration.
More information and pictures available on request.
Great spring project!”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $900.
“1946 CJ-2A
-Original Motor turns over freely and had it sputtering, but probably needs the carb cleaned / replaced.
-Axles look like they are from an early 70’s cj.
-Body is rough, but salvageable. Definitely needs a good amount of repair.
-Frame looks good, no major work needed.
-Transmission is locked up from sitting, but transfer case seems good.”
I’m guessing this is most likely a CJ-2A, but I can’t tell for sure. Auction is Saturday, July 20.
