About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“This is a nice little willys I used around the farm. It needs restored or a engine rebuild. It runs and drives but has a knock in the motor as it has a spun rod bearing… Pretty complete and solid. brakes work…has always been very reliable..”

“1948 Willys Jeep. Price reduced. Need to find new home for Jeep. Relocated to Texas. Selling home in Crete. Unfinished project car has been in storage (garaged) for over 30 years. Engine was completely rebuilt, brakes rebuilt except for master cylinder, body patched to look okay if you don’t look too close. Has full canvas top and snow plow. Needs some work to get back to drivable condition. Was last started about five years ago and ran OK then. E-mail any questions.”
“SOLID ORIGINAL FRAME. I HAVE HAD THIS FRAME HANGING IN MY GARAGE FOR 4 YEARS AND NOW I AM MOVING. JEEP FRAME TAG IS IN PIC, #45946 AND MARKED CJ2A. HAS PEDAL PIVOT. I HAVE SOME NEW STEERING PARTS THAT ARE INCLUDED: TIE ROD ENDS, BELL CRANK, ALL FOR CJ2A.
“I have a Jeep Willys CJ2A that my grandpa used to have on the farm. It has not been ran or driven in close to 12 years. The engine is there and the transmission still shifts into all but one gear, which I believe is first gear. The body is in good condition for how old the jeep is. This is NOT a running jeep, but a great project jeep. I don’t have the time or money to restore it. My loss is your gain. Email for more questions.”
(01/03/2011) Some old desert dogs support this old jeep. The spare body looks good and the rollcage looks nice, except for the funky bends of the front loop near the dash.
“Willys Jeep, starts and runs good. Has a Buick 225v6, Lots of power, climbs great. Good cond, no rust in tub, rust where spair tire mount was. All orig, but eng.”
This has plates, but it doesn’t have front running lights, so I’m not sure it is really street legal?
