This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The steps appear altered and the drain hole area repaired.

“1948 Jeep CJ2 for $6000 or best offer, totally tricked out, power steering, front lockers, newly rebuilt V6 engine, drive and rear lights, street legal and rigged for off road, towbar and 8k lb winch. It has a T90 transmission with overdrive, am/fm radio, roll cage and windshield defroster. It also has two fuel tanks and additional front floodlights.”

“Nice Project Jeep For sale, original engine and drive train, runs and shifts in all gears. Four wheel drive works in hi and low range. Good solid frame to restore to original condition.”

“I’m looking to sell my blue, 1948 Willy’s Jeep. Unfortunately I don’t know much about it as it was my dad’s project. I do know that it has the original engine in it, but does not run – I believe it was a fuel pump issue. The body is on it is good, one cracked plastic fender, but mostly straight otherwise. The leather on the seats is decent, but does show that it has been sitting for a while. It does have a tow bar on the front of it. Could be a really great vehicle”
