This is a project.

“I have a non running 1947 Willys CJ2A Jeep for sale. It hasn’t ran in 15 or more years, but ran when parked. Motor will turn over by hand. Body is in pretty good condition for it’s age. Also have an extra Willys hood, 5 steel original wheels that appear to be in pretty good condition. Jeep still has original glass parking light lenses and other original parts, windshield frame appears to be in good condition with the exception of moderate rust at bottom of glass, glass is cracked. It’s been sitting outside and is full of leaves. 2 spark plugs broke when I attempted to remove them (to spray oil in cylinders prior to turning motor over). I have not attempted to remove the plugs with anything, they might come out fine with some penetrating oil. Jeep will need work to get running again, but all parts are there and engine compartment is pretty clean. Will make a great deer lease ride. I took this Jeep in trade, but have realized that I will never get around to fixing it up. $1200 cash.

“Runs great!! I have over 5k into this thing with receipts to prove it. Engine is a fresh rebuild. L134, new pistons, valves, 2 sleeves, valve guides, oil pump, electronic ignition, rebuilt carburetor, resealed transmission transfer case front and rear end. new brakes all around, seats, steering refresh(needs gearbox) tie rod ends, drag link. 2.5″ rancho suspension. modified rollbar and soft top. (05/02/2013) This jeep has been disassembled.

“I have a 1948 CJ-2A very well used. I bought it about a year ago and when I got it stripped down it was more than I wanted to take on right now. The pictures are from when I bought it — it has totally been stripped but can still be towed with the A-Frame in the front. I did get the engine running before I stripped it. Vehicle is sold as is with no title.”
