About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(03/27/2011) This is pretty rough. I suspect it doesn’t run.
“Build your own rock crawler with this old jeep. F Head engine 4 cylinder; 3 speed manual transmission; Package deal includes another engine. We may help with transport/hauling if we make a deal with you. Call 775-753-7853 for more info.”

Newly powered coated roll bar, dual mufflers with alum steps on each side, chrome grill. Just put on Aluminum wheels. Tires are 33in super swampers. LED brake lights (new also) and has new turn signals. Replaced both rear axles in winter of 2011. Very good comfortable seats. Spare tire is brand new, Front disc brakes. Also with winch.. Has two milatary gas cans mounted on rear not shown. When I first bought it I couldn’t find serial no. Took it to level (1) inspection and had a new number assigned to it. Every thing about registration was a real hassel but got it done. Have title and regestration. This Jeep is fun and will go anywhere you want to go and licenced for the street.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5000. The seller claims this is all original, which isn’t true (hood bumps, front bumper, rear mounted tire, windshield … just for starters).
(10/19/2009) Though it’s got one missing, I like the round hood bumps.
“I have 46 all original willys jeep, nice runs good. Has new tires and rims tires are wild country 95% tread. Front seats have been redone. no top needs new wind shield, asking 5000 because all original is something to have, this jeep is an awesome hunting rig.”

I think this has a fiberglass body. To me, the rim around the edge looks wider than normal.
“Hi I have for sale a 48 willys cj2 has a clean Oregon title a cage complete front clip has original running gear as far as we know but it has a spring over done. This is listed as a 1943 WWII jeep, but looks to me to be a CJ-2A.
“Selling a WWII Flat Fender Willies Jeep, has a standard transmission, and a Flat Head 4 Cylinder orginal engine. In fair condition, can be restored. Asking $500. Pictures coming soon! Call 210-287-8183 ask for T.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $2500. This may be a scam. Apparently there is no Ladera in NM.
(04/19/2011) I can’t tell if this is a VEC or not.
“For sale one 1945 Willys Jeep CJ2a. The jeep seems to be mostly stock except for larger gas tank installed behind seats, the tailgate, and the carb not original oil bath and 12 volt . There are probably other things not original, but I am a total rookie on these Willys. During my period of ownership I had new pistons & rings installed, emergency brake, yokes, seals and new fluid in drive train. I believe the 4wd works; temp, oil pressure, speedometer work, the gas gauge and horn do not. The lights & turn signals work. Has a massive manual crank winch on front in case you get stuck. Vehicle runs & drives and started right up in the coldest of days this past winter.
I have a clean NM title in my name and is currently registered to drive on the street, though doesn’t go much past 40 mph.
$2500.00 cash only, no trades
