Some very decent parts for someone looking for parts. email if you are interested in anything and I’ll let you know if I have it. will price for everything or pieces.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
(03/17/2013) The body appears to be a replacement. For some reason, it’s dented near the top of the dash. I’ve never seen that. It’s a no reserve auction starting at $200.
“1947 Willys Jeep CJ2A
Titled as a 1951 (Can not guarantee the exact year) See the Vin number on the photo of the title. Might be able to look it up in a registry.
This Jeep was bought as a project about 10 years ago and do not have room to store it any longer. It has been sitting in California for the last 10 year. Purchased from a Farm in the Midwest. It sat in the barn untouched for 30 years. Was running 10 years ago but is not currently running now. Might just need a battery and a tune up to get it running. Brakes are bad and needs a full restoration. Would be a great project car as it has really good bones. There is some rust on the exterior and on the undercarriage but not that bad. Body is pretty straight.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay
This looks good.
“Fully restored 1946 Willys CJ2A. Engine, gearbox, tranfer case all restored by professional shops. Frame/body paint/electrical by owner. Harvest Tan, correct color for 1946. Luzon Red wheels. Overdrive added when restored for better highway drivability. 5 new Firestone vintage truck knobby tires, has period turn signals and period heater installed. Under restoration 2000–2006, about 1000 miles on it since restoration. Located near Levenworth Kansas, can be seen by appointment.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4000.
This needs some work, but looks like a good price.
“1947 Willys CJ2A

This Jeep needs some TLC, not a basket case by any means, but does need a little work.
$4000 OBO May be interested in a trade.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2400.
(12/23/2012) It’s a pretty pricey project. The paperwork is missing, too.
“This is a 1949 Willy’s Jeep CJ2A. 4 Cylinder Flat, Engine was rebuild in 2002 (never driven since). The jeep is a nearly completed project with many original parts.
The following work has been done and up-front, I am a certified welder, metal fabrication journeyman / Blacksmith from Germany.
– Rebuild floor with proper tube- frame
– Rebuild bed with proper tube- frame
– Rebuild foldable Windshield, new glass and seals
– Built a 20 gal gas tank that goes across the entire jeep with barriers inside to avoid slushing. (toolbox from passenger seat was beyond repairs)
– Built Seat-mounts and purchased new Seats
– Custom Heavy Duty Bumpers
– Re-arched all four Leaf-springs
– Replaced all four shocks
– Lots of body work
New seats with heavy duty mounts. Custom bumpers front and back. Rebuild steering gear box. (still a huge play) Reinforcement and accentuation with diamond plate.
Repaired and reinforced frame where needed. Rebuild all four leaf springs to proper hight and arch. 4 new shocks, new wiper and rear lights. I have 4 fairly new rims that would replace the ones currently on the Jeep.
The Engine would start fine if a mechanic would spend an hour with it, since I have never touched it in 8 years. I also do not have paperwork for the Jeep anymore. I would be more than happy to pay the DMV fee for re-registration once the Jeep is sold.
I am selling this nice project Jeep, simply because I bought that prior to having Children and a House. I simply do not want to spend the time on something I would rarely use.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000.
The body has been stretched in the middle.

“1948 CJ-2A with military paint and grill. Black-out light and convoy lights too. Has roll bar and military rims. Civilian rims come with the deal. Runs well but last engine overhaul isn’t known. Yes, it needs work. NADA quotes range from $5,500 to $21,000. Come look. Oh, has split windscreen with manual wipers. (Standard in 1948). Titled and registered in California. 65 years young and looking for a new home.”
