This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This jeep includes full floating rears with hubs.
“151 cid Pontiac 4 cylinder engine rebuilt with less than 500 miles on it, advanced adapters GM to adapt any GM engine to jeep 3 speed transmission, model 18 spicer transfer case rebuilt, Dana model 44 rear, with warn full float axle kit with warn locking hubs warn axle shafts, differential gear ratios is 5:38, Detroit locker in rear differential, open front differential, painless brand wiring kit, all wiring in jeep electrical system is new with modern fuse block, warn 8000# winch with roller fairlead used 2 times, tons of custom work to make this jeep very effective. Spare Willys Jeep with complete running gear and no engine is included with this.”
I suspect there’s been work on the body. The drains hole is missing.
“1946 jeep CJ2A. Great body. Needs fuel tank. Have a boat gas tank in it right now. Been in storage. Was going to restore but Don’t have time nor money. Needs a new home. Has a ford 2.0 engine swap. Rest is all original. Also comes with original military tires and wheels. Email questions.”

It runs, but needs work. Has some useful upgrades.
“Bought it with another car and dont have a need for it. I got it running and havent done anything else, does need some work. Has discs front and rear. Dana 30 in front Ford 9in that has some sort of locker in rear. 302 ford with compound low 4 speed. Real nice fab work on frame tube rear section. Blazer springs, real good 35s. Needs more than paint, seats and tires. Windshield needs work, parking lights missing, dash incomplete, and more.
“Frame off restoration almost complete, only needs paint, seats and tires. Completelt rebuilt engine with 0 miles on it. New exhaust, new wiring, new alternator, new radiator, new gauges, new fuel tank, ect….. moving to Florida and can’t afford to finish it. ”

(02/20/2013) This jeep sounds ready for the mountains.
“48 Willys Flatfender frame up build in 1997 with all the goodies. SBC 283, 25 gallon tank, dana 44 front and rear with 488 gears, detroit lockers front and rear, T18 tranny with 4 to 1 low gear, model 20 trans case with bronco 2.46 low range. Holly projection. Marsh Racing 32 bolt bead lock rims, Fresh Swampers 33×12.50, Dual batterys optima ( need replace) Disc brakes all around, New 8274 winch in 03 hardly used. This Jeep has been sitting for last 5 years. Just dont use it anymore. Thanks for looking. Respond with phone number Ill call u back or e-mail. ”
This looks real nice, but some of the decisions surprise me, such as not having the transmission plate cover installed.
“Vin # CJ2A63505. This Willy’s is in excellent condition and the under carriage looks as good as the rest of the Jeep. The restoration was done about 8 years ago by the previous owner who lived in California. The original engine has been replaced with a 1970’s 231 odd fire V6 Buick engine. Since the restoration it has only had about 200 miles put on it. This Willy’s has an all steel body not aluminum or fiberglass knock off.”
